Esxence Fotoreport 7: Montale, Etat Libre d'Orange, Olivier Durbano
1 - Finalmente Montale Paris ha deciso di far uscire anche in Italia una fragranza leggendaria che è tra le migliori del marchio: Attar. Andatelo a provare assolutamente perché è una rosa perfetta, anzi forse LA rosa perfetta: fresca, rugiadosa, appena sbocciata, perfettamente naturale. (io non vedo l'ora di trovarlo nei negozi perché ho un certo innamorato barbuto e con la fede al dito che non vede l'ora di indossarlo...).
2 - Finalmente Olivier Durbano ha deciso di lanciare i suoi "Parfums de Pierres Poemes" anche in estratto. I flaconi rettangolari da 30ml contengono un 30-40% di essenza. Io ho testato Black Tourmaline e Quartz Rose che mi hanno entusiasmata, è vero che le formule non sono state cambiate per nulla, semplicemente la loro presenza su pelle è diventata più intensa, rotonda, quasi palpabile. Una vera meraviglia da indossare.
3 - Finalmente qualcuno ha fatto uscire un profumo ispirato al balletto "L'Apres-midi d'un Faune" che Debussy aveva composto -e Nijinski coreografato- per i Balletti Russi di Parigi un secolo fa (1912). Potete vederne l'interpretazione di Rudolf Nureyev cliccando qui (coreografie, costumi e scenografie sono originali). Il marchio è Etat Libre d'Orange (e chi altri, sennò?). Non vedo l'ora di testarlo meglio e poterne parlare a ragion veduta, ma quello che ho sentito dopo averlo portato due giorni di fila mi sta facendo pensare che possa essere addirittura il migliore della linea: le note di elicriso, muschio di quercia, cuoio, mirra e benzoino lo rendono strano e particolare, verde, terroso, luciferino e molto erotico; quindi, perfettamente coerente sia con il tema del balletto che con il marchio Etat Libre d'Orange. Lo firma Ralph Schwieger (autore anche di Lipstick Rose della linea Frederic Malle). Lo recensirò senz'altro perché mi ha entusiasmata!
Other things that struck me at Esxence, which make me say "WELCOME, AT LAST!"
1 - Montale Paris has decided to release in Italy a legendary fragrance, among the best of this brand: Attar. Try it absolutely because it's a perfect rose, or better THE perfect rose: a fresh, dewy natural rose, just in bloom.
2 - Olivier Durbano has finally decided to launch his "Parfums de Pierres Poémes" in extract concentration. The smaller, 30ml bottles will contain 30-40% of essence. I swoon testing Black Tourmaline and Quartz Rose their formulas have not changed at all, while their presence on the skin has become more intense, round, almost tactile. A wonder to be worn with real joy.
3 - Finally someone has released a fragrance inspired by the ballet "L'Apres-midi d'un Faune" that Debussy had composed and-Nijinsky choreographed for the Ballets Russes in Paris a century ago (1912). The brand is Etat Libre d'Orange (who else?) and I look forward to testing it further and be able to speak about it better, but what I smelled in two days is making me think it may even be the best of the line: the notes of immortelle, oakmoss, leather , myrrh and benzoin create an oddly green, earthy, devilish and very erotic scents, perfectly consistent with both the theme of the Ballet and the brand's values.
